I tried adjusting the tx power to 100mw and even 200mw and noticed no difference. Are these dual band routers in capable of transmitting on this antenna? Got a text from my home security system saying that broadband connection was lost. When I got home and checked the router, it was not powered on. After a few minutes of checking the power connection and the power button, I came up with a similar solution.

If I turn off 5Ghz on Router then my iPad Air 2, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S , iPad Mini Retina 1st Gen -- None of them connect to the 2.4Ghz network. They don't even see the SSID
If it's a combination of hardware and 802.11n not working as advertised then so be it. I don't plan to buy a new router because I'm not confident the devices I use wireless on would support 801.22ac.
